Ube Swirl Yoghurt Bowl

with vanilla warmth, berry coulis & crunch

A bowl that feels like art. And supports your body like a ritual.

Creamy yoghurt meets vibrant ube, swirled gently into soft lilac waves. A touch of vanilla adds warmth, while fresh fruit and homemade granola bring brightness and crunch. Finished with a slow-simmered berry coulis.

Ingredients

For the base

  • 1 cup yoghurt (Greek or coconut for extra creaminess)
  • 1–2 tsp ube powder
  • 1–2 tbsp hot water
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Optional: drizzle of maple syrup or honey

Toppings

  • Kumquat slices
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Homemade granola (see recipe in my feed)

Berry coulis

  • Handful raspberries
  • Handful blueberries
  • Small splash of water
  • Splash of vanilla
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Prepare the ube swirl.In a small bowl, mix the ube powder with a little hot water until smooth and vibrant. The texture should be thick but pourable.

Flavor the yoghurt.Stir vanilla (and optional sweetener) into the yoghurt for a soft, creamy base.

Swirl.Spoon yoghurt into a bowl. Drizzle the ube mixture over the top and gently swirl with a spoon. Don't overmix. Let the lilac tones stay visible.

Make the berry coulis.In a small pan over low heat, combine raspberries, blueberries, and a splash of water. Let simmer gently for about 10 minutes until soft and jam-like. Add a splash of vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon. Stir and let cool slightly.

Assemble.Top your bowl with kumquat, raspberries, blueberries, homemade granola, and a spoonful of warm berry coulis.
